Our member Art Starz is attempting to start something like a night club at the Elks in Rimforest. I was there on opening night, last Saturday. There is live music by George Cardin, a good steak or fish dinner for $10, a full bar, and a dance floor. Well drinks are $3.
The place was mostly empty, even with a notice in the newspaper. The venue is great; it just takes tenacity to get things going. When Mountain Singles shows up this Saturday, we will have the place mostly to ourselves. Consider that we are the first to discover it.
