Cinco de Mayo
Party, 2012
There was a time when Napoleon attempted to establish a French empire in Mexico. Against superior odds, the Mexicans were victorious on May 5, 1826. It wasn't the most important event in Mexican history, nor even the most important battle. But it was a moral victory. The date is widely observed in the United States as a celebration of Mexican heritage and pride.

So grab your sombrero and maracas, and join us for a Latin celebration on Saturday, May 5 at Jerry's condo on the lake in Lake Arrowhead. Arrive at 6 pm. The party will go til about 10 pm.

Directions to Jerry's place are below.

Don and Carol are bringing enchiladas, tamales, taquitos, margaritas and drinks. Bring your favorite Mexican food, drink, or desert to share.

Members just show up. Others RSVP at (909) 744-8561.
