Blue Jay Christmas Parade

Here is a mountain tradition I've heard of, but knew nothing about. Stretches back 31 years: The annual Blue Jay Christmas Parade. I knew it was nominated in the Ginness Book of Records as the world's shortest parade, but not that there was a big community event in the hour before it. Our member Kathy attends every year, and calls it a "Hoot!" Relax with friends. Wander in shops. Go to Jensens for coffee. Listen to live music on a stage near Texifornia and the new yoghurt place.

Photos from December 2011 are here. See you in 2012!
