Blue Jay Jazz Festival
Come join the 2011 jazz event of the year: the Blue Jay Jazz Festival. Jeff
Kashawa will play on Aug. 4, Chris Ho on Aug. 11, and Poncho Sanchez on Aug 18.
Jump to the beat on the open-air parking deck above the Rite Aid Shopping Center in Blue Jay. Concerts are all on Thursdays, and start at 6:30 pm.
Cost is $20/person. Ticket information is here. The events do not sell out, so tickets can be purchased at the gate.
Don will have a carried-in table, and an ice chest with beer and wine. Bring a lawn chair & sweater, plus whatever food and drink you like.
Long-time members remember a bit of Mountain Singles trivia: In 2009 we instructed members to find our table by looking for a red table cloth, and it turned out that there were several other red tables! Since then, we have marked our table with a blue party balloon.
This year promises to be just as memorable. See you there!
