Where we haven't been.

Too small. There are several otherwise good restaurants that lack the seating capacity for a party of up to 24.

Coffee Shops. For the same price, we can find a better dining experience elsewhere.

High-end tourist traps. The management would like to draw tourists and locals at the same time, but discover that they can't. The servers prefer customers on a spending spree.

Gone out of business. On a typical published list of restaurants, one in four no longer exists.

Poor atmosphere. As for the Last Chance Cafe, well...
We spent a year returning to the same four restaurants. That probably errs on the side of too little variety. So to shake it up, we set out to tour all suitable restaurants in our mountain communities, and then vote on a favorite new four.

The final tally, on Dec. 27, 2011 is shown above. The top four are Woody's, Bin 189, California Thai, and Arturo's. In months with five Wednesdays, we can add the Sports Grille.
