Please join us for an apple party. Our member Margie has a small orchard that ripens around
October. The plan is to meet at her place in Crestline at 11 am, pick apples, and then reconvene
at 5 pm at Don's place for hamburgers and a pie contest. Apple types are mixed, so depending
on what you pick, your "pie" could be a jam or sauce.
If you would like to pick apples, RSVP with Don at (909) 744-8561. Margie has a picker, and Don will contribute another. You can also just show up at pie time, at Don's place.

We had to cancel this event, because Margie's drought-stricken crop did not produce in
2014. But the idea for an apple party was very popular. We will keep a watch out for some
other, similar opportunity.
