Location

Mountain Singles Organization is based in Lake Arrowhead, and is mostly for local
mountain communities. Other singles interested enough to travel to the mountains
are welcome.

For residents in the Big Bear area there is a sister organization Big Bear Singles
Mixer. Don Knight and Annalisa swap moral support. Don runs the Big Bear website
for free.

Founder's Story

Wanted singles activities. Couldn't find any locally. Decided to create some.

Full-time resident of Lake Arrowhead since 2000. Lost his home in the Grass Valley
Wildfire of 2007. Took money from insurance and bought an existing home.

Demographics and background

Over a third of our mountain householders are either living alone, or are living with
some family but no spouse. If all of our households headed by a single were pulled
together, they would make a city larger than Lake Arrowhead.
